If you would prefer to organize alternative accommodation, that is no problem at all, and we can assist you with this.

To get you started here are some recommendations.

If you don’t start your homestay straight away or want to find your bearings before looking for other accommodation, we recommend the Black Cat Hostel which is less than a block from the school.

Dorm rooms start at Q60 a night including a delicious breakfast.  www.blackcatxela.com

As an alternative to a homestay we recommend La Posada San Andres, which is 5 minutes from the school. It is an old colonial house with basic furnished bedrooms surrounding a large courtyard. Guests share a kitchen and two bathrooms and rent includes all services and wifi. For more details email sanandresxela@gmail.com

For students who are here more long term (ie more than a month) we also recommend rooms at the local non-profit Entremundos. Also an old building with furnished bedrooms and all services including wifi, use of computer room.
