In our sister school we also offer affordable, native speaker taught English classes to Guatemalans.  They often need English classes to help with university studies, work or are just learning for pleasure. Many are complete beginners but we offer classes at all levels. The classes are one-on-one and the emphasis is on conversation , but also with a mixture of other skills such as grammar, listening, reading and writing.

If you will be in Xela for more than two months and would like to teach English classes part time, then we’d love to hear from you.   Experience of teaching English is preferable but not always necessary. All teaching materials are provided by the school.  You can either get paid for the hours you teach or exchange them for Spanish classes.
